Ah Bouddi National Park and Putty Beach – probably our favourite Central Coast location to shoot at. Being a Central Coast photographer, we are definitely not short of amazing locations to shoot at, however there is just something magical about Bouddi National Park that keeps drawing us back in… and we know you can see it too ,which is why Bouddi National Park and Putty Beach are our most requested photography locations! Loved by locals and Sydney-siders, Bouddi National Park and Putty Beach is our little hidden gem only a stone throw away from home. It is no surprise that the meaning of ‘Bouddi” in the local Aboriginal language translates to “heart” or “heart land”. If you have always dreamed of beautiful images with your loved ones at Bouddi National Park and Putty Beach, we’d love to hear from you – a great excuse for us to keep coming back too!
Norah Head Photography – Engagement shoot Lindsay & Mitch
This shoot, although was done last year, was just too good not to share! This was actually the second engagement shoot we did for these guys at Norah Head. Not because the first shoot wasn’t amazing, because it was, but it was super late start last time due to Lindsay’s hair and makeup so we didn’t have a lot of light left, plus it rained half way through the shoot! So when the team got together and decided they wanted to do some photography workshops to gear up for a busy 2021, Lindsay and Mitch were the first couple to spring to mind. On the contrary, we had amazing sunshine at Norah Head plus Norah Head isn’t somewhere we have shot very often so it was a great afternoon of creativity and fun at Norah Head. We will be blogging their beautiful Caves Beach wedding in the coming weeks too. Enjoy this Norah Head Photography!
Central Coast Family Portraits 2021
It’s a new year! And with that comes change, much-needed change! (after the year that we just had) Most of our wedding bookings from last year are now going ahead this year, which means it will be a busy year for most wedding photographers (fingers crossed) this year.
In 2020 surprising though, we booked triple the number of family portraits than we usually do. And with that it allowed us to reflect on the importance of the year that was. Although it was a tough year for most, it was certainly a year where most humans across the globe cherished what was most important to them, and the result was often simple and right in front of them. And for us here at Coast, it was evident that the true thing that mattered the most was family and being part of a group of people where we feel most secure and loved was important. We were fortunate enough to see this through the families we have been involved with during the past 9 months. An absolute honour!
Saying this, we have now created a new and simple portrait package for everyone to take advantage of. This includes
60-minute portrait session on location | A checklist to help you prepare for your portrait session | Secure online digital gallery-ready a week after your session | Downloadable printable images

Central Coast Family Photographer – Family photos
Another gorgeous family portrait session we did outside the Central Coast NSW recently when we decided to go on a little road trip down south to Wollongong. Although we adore the Central Coast NSW, we LOVE the gorgeous scenery outside the Central Coast NSW, and we definitely got lucky with this beautiful Wollongong family – and location! We think a few more road trips outside the Central Coast NSW are on the horizon for this family photographer…
Kulnura Central Coast Wedding Photographer – Sarah and Pat
Another amazing Central Coast Wedding that we have been fortunate to capture. Sarah and Pat tied the knot in Kulnura Central Coast NSW, a gorgeous location north of Mangrove Mountain on the Central Coast NSW, with lush properties and amazing Central Coast scenery. It has been a while since we shot a church wedding and after the ceremony we ventured off to a private property, a Central Coast wedding photographer’s dream on the Central Coast NSW for wedding. We were spoilt with perfect light and after a breezy shoot, we headed over to Yarramalong Central Coast for an intimate reception with Sarah and Pat’s dearest.
Central Coast Family Photos – Fagan Park
Over the COVID wedding break, we were fortunate enough to still book in a lot of Central Coast Family Portraits that kept us a float as well as keeping us creative and doing what we love. Since the weddings are starting to pick up again, we expected the Central Coast Family Photos to quieten down since more and more “non-essential” services began to reopen however it has been quite the opposite. We have loved the extra Central Coast Family Photos that we have been doing over the past couple of months. Perhaps COVID has made us slow down and appreciate time with our loved ones more and realise how quickly things can change and kids grow. We are so fortunate to capture Central Coast family photos for so many beautiful families. We love seeing them come back over the years with additions to their little tribes. This shoot here are our good friends Pat and Min. Last time we shot them, Min was pregnant with their youngest Zoe. Hopefully next time we shoot them, there will be another little human to meet!!
Central Coast Family Portrait Photographer – Wollongong Family
Being based on the Central Coast NSW, obviously most of our shoots are up our way on the Central Coast NSW. However, we decided to take a little road trip down south and this Central Coast family portrait photographer was fortunate enough to see some of the beautiful spots the South Coast has to offer as well as shooting a couple of families in the process! Though we absolutely love the Central Coast NSW, the south coast has some of the most spectacular spots so this Central Coast Family Portrait Photographer was indeed very happy!
Central Coast NSW – Newborn portrait session
Newborn photography is not something we usually get asked to do on the Central Coast NSW. Not because we don’t love babies but probably because when you think of newborn photography you think indoor studio with softbox lighting and adorable pink, blue and white knits. Not us though! We have no idea how to mold newborns and how to style them, but we do love natural outdoor lighting so when Grace asked us to take some photos of her, now family of three, on the Central Coast NSW we were delighted. Although this Winter hasn’t been super cold so far (knock on wood) we were obviously still really mindful of the cooler temps so we kept this shoot short and sweet but still got all the baby cluckiness we needed on the Central Coast NSW.
Central Coast Engagement Photos Killcare Heights – Jessica & Mitch
Jessica and Mitch are all set for their October wedding on the Central Coast NSW given that there are no further changes to the COVID restrictions that we are all aware of at the moment. Jess had this gorgeous gown that differs quite a lot from the wedding dress she plans to wear on the day so instead of letting it go to waste, it was the perfect opportunity to go out someplace beautiful on Central Coast NSW for an engagement shoot. Jess was quite nervous about the thought of wedding photos and we get it, it can feel awkward if you’ve never done it before! So not only getting gorgeous pre-wedding images on the Central Coast NSW but also the perfect chance to get a feel for what photography is all about so that is one less thing to stress about on the day. Enjoy, and look out for Jessica & Mitch’s wedding images sometime in October on the Central Coast NSW.
Central Coast NSW Family Photographer
Such a massive compliment when a successful and highly talented photographer asks you to shoot their family on the Central Coast NSW. Its been a long time coming since we have known this family since forever before moving to the Central Coast NSW! Was such a lovely afternoon showing off some of the gorgeous spots on the Central Coast NSW to these city folks. Hope you love them and the Central Coast NSW!
